John and Michelle Bishop
John:
As a pastor John strives to cultivate an "Acts 2" church where people pursue being fully devoted Christ followers and serve each other. He longs for church to be a place where people live the values Jesus died for. He also has a heart for other pastors and loves helping other churches reach their full redemptive potential. This led him to establish the "Only God" church network which helps provide leadership, creative and other valuable resources as well as connection for pastors and churches both locally and internationally. His favorite part of full time ministry is working alongside the people he loves, including his wife Michelle, who works closely with him each day. Pastor John's only life goal is to know Jesus more every day. In the words of first century Jews, his hope is to be covered in the dust of his Rabbi.
Michelle:
I have had the awesome privilege of being able to serve our God in ministry for the last 25 years, while being married to my high school sweetheart for almost 27 years and having 3 wonderful children who all love and serve Jesus. I would say my life is fully blessed.
My passion is the powerful truth of God’s word - digging into it myself and encouraging others to dig also. I believe that if we are rooted in the word of God and communicate with our Lord through prayer, that we will be able to live a life that honors Christ and leads others to Him.
I am honored to serve alongside my husband as Senior Pastor of Living Hope Church, and desire that my life would be used for the greatest cause of Christ - to reach lost people with His undeserved love and grace.
