The story of Lazarus is a well known one, and perhaps one of the more unusual in the bible. Why did Jesus wait four days to call Lazarus out of the tomb? and why did he cry when he already knew what was going to happen? The truth is, many of us are doing life in our 'grave clothes'. We are wearing the stinky cloths of our fear, or shame, our pride and hurt when Jesus wants to call us out into new life.
