Friends Puppet Ministries Project

View Website

For over thirty years John and Elli Buskirk of the Friends Puppet Ministries has touched millions of lives through the antics, humor, and Biblical teaching of the puppets. There evangelistic teaching has drawn thousands of children to a living hope in Jesus Christ as Savior. The puppeteers have retired from full-time performing in the Pacific Northwest. But, they live on through there website where they offer audience tested scripts and other resources for budding puppeteers and ventriloquists. Spanish scripts, Gospel scripts, Scripture scripts, exciting nonvideo CD puppet adventures that inspire imagination, DVD videos teaching from Romans and Philippians are all available. They also provide puppetry techniques and encourage puppet usage for church and mission groups. See you at friendspuppets.org.

Wiconi International

View Website

Under the leadership of Richard and Katherine Twiss, Wiconi (pronounced we-cho-nee) International is a locally based ministry whose mission is to equip Indigenous people to fulfill their God-given destiny through faith in Jesus Christ. Their purpose is to first glorify the Father --- the Ancient of Days among all tribes, tongues, and nations. They seek to serve the global Church as a bridge builder and consulting resource for developing genuine community, unity, and consciousness of social justice and mutuality among diverse peoples. They accomplish this by networking with Native and non-Native leaders, helping them to develop Christ-centered, culturally appropriate styles of ministry that uphold Biblical truth while honoring the cultural expressions of Christian faith for First Nations peoples.

Frontier Missions

View Website

From the beginning, Frontier Missions has been a ministry dedicated to helping Native Americans. The greatest help of all comes with the good news of love and forgiveness. They are committed to encouraging and enabling pastors and helping in every way possible to train and equip them for ministry and service. In addition, they collect and distribute food, clothing, vehicles, furniture and various household items. This has proven to be very effective in meeting the needs of minority people who have historically had great difficulty in adjusting to a different culture and society.
