I hope everyone is having a great week! Michelle and I are in Orange County, preparing to be on TBN tonight. It’s always a privilege to be invited to share the gospel with millions of people around the world, and I am excited to see what God will do. It is a little tiring but always good....Read More

At Living Hope we get the privilege of meeting people every week who have never stepped foot in a church before. Because so many of you bring your un-churched friends to hear about Jesus, we meet those who have never owned or read a Bible....Read More

Words are amazing aren’t they? Think about the power of one word. Maybe the word guilty? Or stupid. I’ll never forget when I first hear this word, this one little word " malignant. That’ll wreck your day. I also remember a couple of months later, after several surgeries hearing the word " benign. Cancer free. These are just little words with big meaning. What about sorry? A small word that can change everything. Words matter so much...Read More

As I sit and write this devotional, I am blown away that after 5 weekend services (Good Friday and four Easter services) we were able to witness 226 people being baptized. I was able to personally meet all but just a few of those, and in almost every case they had made a decision to ask Jesus in their heart that same day. There was a deep sense of ‘ready’ to be all in for Jesus. Through the tears and the nerves, it never ceases to amaze me the way people just want to be loved....Read More

I have so enjoyed sharing some of what I experience from the Journey of Paul the Apostle. To walk where he walked, and see the structures built thousands of years ago, has made the stories and scripture teachings come alive in a whole new way. This weeks devotional was filmed in Athens, where Paul preached his most famous sermon " Mars Hill. Check it out:...Read More

Through the whole month of March we are spending time retracing the steps and inspired words of the Apostle Paul. I had the privilege of spending time in Greece, Turkey, and Italy, visiting places such as Athens and Ephesus and want to share part of the journey with you. Today’s devotional is a short (5 minute) video, filmed in Olympia, Greece....Read More

Do you remember a time you said “No” to God? I think we all have at sometime in our lives. Maybe we didn’t share our faith when the opportunity arose, or we ignored that little prompting to give a stranger help, or perhaps we didn’t go on that mission trip when we really felt strongly about it. It’s easy to miss those opportunities, but I often wonder about the fruit we miss out on as well....Read More

It is official. Perhaps old news, but news none the less. The Ravens are the 2013 NFL Super bowl champions! Did you see the game? Almost 110 million homes tuned in to watch. I had an unfortunate scheduling conflict that prevented me from taking in the whole thing. In fact, it was aboard a flight at 5:30am Monday, when I finally got to read all the official highlights in USA Today. I find it interesting that we are the ‘world’ champions, when the NFL is by definition a national sport. No other countries even compete. ...Read More

I think this might be the latest a devotional has gone out, but I also think it may be one of the most important. Important, in that I hope it serves to encourage you to invite someone to church. This weekend I want to talk about the excuses people make to stay away from God, to refute the claims of Christ, and to choose not to surrender to Him. We promised you a service where your friends could encounter Christ " and this will be it....Read More
