God put a burning desire in me to help the hurting and the lost youth in my community. For decades I’ve been speaking at schools all over the nation and bringing a message of self-worth and drug and alcohol prevention. As Senior Pastor of Living Hope Church, I am honored to continue serving youth, as this is a passion God has put on my heart.
Prior to my tenure at Living Hope, I served as a youth pastor and lead pastor, counselor, and chaplain. My greatest accomplishment in life is being married for over 40 years to my best friend and watching our four grown children on their own life journey with our 11 grandkids.
After completing my seminary degree in Theology at Western Seminary, the Lord called me to serve in ways I never could have imagined. I have pastored, served as an overseas missionary, served as an International Director of Missions, and as an Executive Director. In all these experiences, I have been privileged to preach, counsel, teach God’s Word, travel all around the world, and provide direction and support as a leader of ministers. Throughout this journey, my greatest blessing and support has been my wife and four children, who I love and cherish!
Today, I serve as the Executive Pastor of Living Hope Church, where I lead the administration and staff, and also as Executive Director of US Digital Outreach, where I oversee a ministry facility with over forty ministries. These two roles allow me to carry out a God-sized task and be a leader to leaders, minister to ministers, and a servant to all—all to the glory of Jesus Christ.
Discipleship and Missions
I felt God’s call to ministry at the age of 18 and I completed my master’s degree in Exegetical Theology at Western Seminary. At Living Hope Church, I lead many ministries including a Discipleship and Leadership training ministry that has guided over 600 new Christians through an extensive 22-week course. I’ve also been blessed to lead over 40 overseas mission trips that have included crusades reaching over 12,000 people at a single event.
Family means the world to me. Together with my wife of over 40 years, we have raised 10 children, 7 of whom are married and have given us 15 grandchildren and counting!
I made my decision to follow Christ at age 15, after connecting with a local youth pastor. Following 2 years of discipleship training, worship school, and ministry overseas with YWAM, I returned home to the Pacific Northwest. Music ministry is my calling, and I’ve been blessed to be able to serve in this way. I’m passionate about helping people encounter the Lord, and see music as a very powerful tool.
God has blessed my wife and I with 3 great kids and outside of ministry I also enjoy refereeing college soccer
I’ve had a lifelong passion to know, love, and serve God. Over the last several decades, my ministry life has centered on serving children and their parents.
I’m married to my best friend and we have 3 children. My greatest joy is having my family serve in ministry alongside me. We are beyond excited to be a part of Living Hope Church and are thankful that we can join you as we walk this faith journey together.
I decided to follow Jesus at the age of 4 and chose to deepen my relationship with Him at Living Hope when I joined our youth group at age 16. Since joining the team in 2008, I have enjoyed serving in several different ministries and completing a Discipleship Training School through Youth With A Mission. I am absolutely thrilled to continue to pour into our church’s youth by serving as the Director of KidsWorld alongside an amazing team. It’s our greatest joy to bring the Bible to life, have fun, and strive to make every kiddo feel loved and valued.
God has blessed me with a marvelous husband and a super fun and friendly son. I enjoy getting out in nature as well as inciting wonder in others for all that God has created.
I came as a seeker to Living Hope Church and it was also here that I encountered Christ. A pastor saw something in me when I didn’t see it in myself, and subsequently, I began to serve in youth ministry. Over the past few years, I’ve really learned to listen to God’s voice in my life, and fully desire to give Him my all. I believe in meeting people right where they are and building authentic relationships with them. I believe that with everyone we come into contact with, we have an opportunity to make an impact in their life for Christ, and I’m privileged to be able to share that with our youth. My wife and I have 2 daughters and together we’re thrilled to be serving Living Hope Church’s young people.
I accepted Jesus as my personal savior in 2007 and since then have felt called to serve youth. I pursued that call in a variety of ways—I spent 2 years with a successful church plant in Wenatchee, and took part in a 9-month intensive internship program.
I’m pleased to currently serve as Living Hope Church’s Middle School Pastor, while working toward my bachelor’s degree in Theology at Portland Bible College.
Men’s Care & Prayer
I came to Christ at Living Hope Church and quickly began serving as a greeter as well as in the Live Love ministry. After taking all the discipleship and leadership classes and learning all I could, I served as the Downtown Campus Pastor for 1-and-a-half years. My heart is to serve those less fortunate, whether in recovery, homeless, or just hurting. I’m passionate about lifting up and encouraging everyone I encounter, and filling the hopeless with hope.
I’m thrilled to be serving now as Care/Prayer Pastor for men, as well as in recovery ministry and homeless outreach. I’m a newlywed and my wife and I have two lovely daughters. We’re excited to be on this journey and look forward to all that God has in store.
Women’s Care & Prayer
I made my decision to follow Christ at the age of 17 and I’ve now been in ministry for decades. Prayer has been my foundation in encouraging others in the body of Christ and has helped me immensely in teaching discipleship, leading prayer intercession, evangelizing, and preaching the Word of God. I love to see people encouraged and I pursued this passion by earning a master’s degree in Counseling and Seminary Education through International College of Ministry. I have served as a professional mental health counselor since 2003.
My greatest achievement is being married to my husband and having my four children. I’m excited to be serving as Care/Prayer Pastor for women at Living Hope Church—since joining the Living Hope family I have enjoyed being a part of many different ministry areas as well as serving as a Lay Pastor. I continue to have joy in my call to pastor to be able to love and care for all those who need it.
