Dream Big
1. What expectations do you have for this new year? Have you made any resolutions? What things would you like to be doing differently?
2. Pastor Neal shared from Philippians 3:13-14. What are the two actions that Paul takes? When you take an honest self-evaluation, are you living your life in the past? Are there some anchors that are holding you back from the blessings God has for you? Take a look at Isaiah 43:16-19. What does God say about the past and the future?
3. According to Ephesians 4:31-32, what are some things that we need to rid ourselves of and in contrast, what should be goals for us to achieve? Look also at Galatians 5:16-26. If God wrote out a list of resolutions for you, what would they be?
4. What defines you? In what or in whom do you find your identity? Look up the following Scriptures and write down (or discuss) who we are in Christ. 1 John 3:1-2, Ephesians 2:10, Matthew 5:13-14, Hebrews 3:1. What promises do you see in these verses?
5. What dreams has God given you (Psalm 37:4), what are some of the desires of your heart? Do you believe God can and will fulfill them (Jeremiah 29:11)? Pastor Neal ended his message with the same thing Paul challenges us to do in Philippians 3:14-15. What are you going to let go of so you can dream again?
