Meet Our Team

Lead Pastor

After completing my seminary degree in Theology at Western Seminary, the Lord called me to serve in ways I never could have imagined. I have pastored, served as an overseas missionary, served as an International Director of Missions, and as an Executive Director. In all these experiences, I have been privileged to preach, counsel, teach God’s Word, travel all around the world, and provide direction and support as a leader of ministers. Throughout this journey, my greatest blessing and support has been my wife and four children, who I love and cherish!

Today, I serve as Lead Pastor of Living Hope Church, where I lead the administration and staff, and also as Executive Director of US Digital Outreach, where I oversee a ministry facility with over forty ministries. These two roles allow me to carry out a God-sized task and be a leader to leaders, minister to ministers, and a servant to all—all to the glory of Jesus Christ.

Lead Pastor

I felt God’s call to ministry at the age of 18 and I completed my master’s degree in Exegetical Theology at Western Seminary. At Living Hope Church, I lead many ministries including a Discipleship and Leadership training ministry that has guided over 600 new Christians through an extensive 22 week course. I’ve also been blessed to lead over 40 overseas mission trips that have included crusades reaching over 12,000 people at a single event.

Family means the world to me. Together with my wife of 40+ years, we have raised 10 children, 9 of whom are married and have given us 19 grandchildren and counting!

Associate Pastor

I came to Christ at Living Hope Church and quickly began serving as a greeter as well as in the Live Love ministry. After taking all the discipleship and leadership classes and learning all I could, I served as the Downtown Campus Pastor for 1 1/2 years. My heart is to serve those less fortunate, whether in recovery, homeless, or just hurting. I’m passionate about lifting up and encouraging everyone I encounter, and filling the hopeless with hope.

I’m thrilled to be serving now as Care/Prayer Pastor for men, as well leading the recovery ministry and homeless outreach, while also working toward my bachelor’s degree in Church Leadership at Portland Bible College. My wife and I have two lovely daughters. We’re excited to be on this journey and look forward to all that God has in store.

Associate Pastor

I made my decision to follow Christ at the age of 17 and I’ve now been in ministry for decades. Prayer has been my foundation in encouraging others in the body of Christ and has helped me immensely in teaching discipleship, leading prayer intercession, evangelizing, and preaching the Word of God. I love to see people encouraged and I pursued this passion by earning a master’s degree in Counseling and Seminary Education through International College of Ministry. I have served as a professional mental health counselor since 2003.

My greatest achievement is being married to my husband and having my four children. I’m excited to be serving as Care/Prayer Pastor for women, along with leading the missions team at Living Hope Church. Since joining the Living Hope family I have enjoyed being a part of many different ministry areas as well as serving as a Lay Pastor. I continue to have joy in my call to pastor to be able to love and care for all those who need it.

Youth Director

I‘ve had a passion for serving within the church for many years, volunteering in the children’s area until I went into high school, when I helped in the middle school ministry. As I was nearing high school graduation, I realized that my passion for hanging out with middle schoolers was more than that. It was  a calling by God to serve youth within the church! I went to Seattle Pacific University with this desire and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Theology and a minor in Youth Ministry.

I am excited to be serving as the Youth Director. I want to see students grow in their faith, in relationship with each other and with the adults who attend Living Hope. I am grateful to be back in my hometown of Vancouver and am excited to be a part of the impact that Living Hope Church is making in the community.

Children’s Director

I’ve had a lifelong passion to know, love, and serve God. Over the last several decades, my ministry life has centered on serving children and their parents.

I’m married to my best friend and we have 3 children. My greatest joy is having my family serve in ministry alongside me. We are beyond excited to be a part of Living Hope Church and are thankful that we can join you as we walk this faith journey together.

Associate Pastor

God has always broken my heart for anyone who is hurting in any way. I have been a part of Living Hope Church for over 13 years and through this church I have seen the most incredible testimonies of lives changed forever by Jesus Christ. I have also had opportunities to go on mission trips all over the world and have witnessed God transform countless lives in many different cultures and countries. I’m beyond blessed to be helping to pastor through our outreach ministries, as well as direct the creative video department. There are thousands in this area who need to know the love and hope that only comes from Jesus Christ. I’m so excited to see what God has done and is continuing to do!

I have been married to the love of my life for 9 years. We don’t have children yet, but we have one pug daughter named Pearl.

Associate Pastor

I accepted Christ at the age of 12 but was a prodigal until 2005, when I recommitted myself to the Lord and have never looked back! I have a calling to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others. I love to help people understand God and the Scriptures. I am married to a wonderful spirit-filled wife, and we have 2 children. We met in the LHC singles group and she and I now lead that group in addition to serving as the event coordinators for Living Hope. I also pastor the Security team and lead the Facility team.

I love the way God has worked in my life, how He takes all the past and turns it to glorify Him. I am honored to be working for Him and to help others know Him better.
